Alicia and Dennis are a ton of fun to photograph, so I knew that they would be a ton of fun on their wedding day! They did not disappoint!
If you’ve ever thought about doing a “First Look”, you should really do it! There are so many benefits to seeing your handsome groom before you walk down the isle…obviously my favorite reason is we get the chance to capture some killer moments of just the two of you! Alicia and Dennis were game for some intimate time alone and some one on one time with me! They decided to do their First Look in Elizabeth Park in Hartford, CT. What a perfect backdrop for them!
Their reception was so beautiful at the Glastonbury Hills Country Club. Their cupcake tower and cake top were by the famous Sugar Bakery of East Haven…sooo delicious! And her gorgeous flowers were by The Garden Path. I was obsessed with them both as you can tell!
A big shout out to their DJ, Entertainment Unlimited of New England and Alicia’s hair stylist Laura on their great work!
Thanks again Alicia and Dennis for letting me be a part of your big day!
As you can tell, I was a huge fan of Veronica & Chad’s wedding. They had every detail covered and it was nothing short of spectacular! It was a photographer’s dream! I loved it so much, I had to split it into two parts…if you missed Part I click here!
Their beautiful location: The Riverhouse
DJ & Lighting: Sound Spectrum Entertainment
Not only was their wedding cake gorgeous (from Creative Cakes By Donna)…but since their wedding day was also Veronica’s birthday, they had a surprise birthday cake for her that was incredible! I can’t decide which I like better!
Thanks again Veronica & Chad for picking me to capture your memories on your wedding day! I loved being a part of it and wish you the best!
Ever think about getting married in a tropical location with your close friends and family for a week long adventure? SURE, sounds exotic, relaxing, and fabulous!!!! Doesn’t mean you can’t come back and have a rockin’ party!!! This is exactly what Nicole and Manny did! They were smart and sipped tropical fruit drinks on the beach in Punta Cana with their friends, then came back and partied like rockstars with their extended family and friends to celebrate their big day!! I love this concept and think it is a great way to get married! (Don’t forget you can always book your favorite photographer AKA Amanda Rose Photography to come capture your destination wedding as well! wink wink)
Nicole and Manny’s wedding celebration was at Union League Cafe in New Haven and it was gorgeous. Nicole chose a non-traditional slate gray dress that was to die for! I loved it so much!! And of course, Manny looked dapper in his matching dark gray suit!
There was no shortage of dancing and fun at their wedding! It seemed like everyone had a blast! There were even two of their friends battling it out on the dancefloor…it was hysterical!!
Thanks again Nicole & Manny for letting me be a party of your huge celebration! Congrats again on your marriage!!
I am so excited for Brigitte and Jeremy’s wedding…the bad news is I have to wait a whole year!! They decided to do their engagement session on the exact day they are getting married next year! I warned her that it will go by faster than she thinks. I’m sure all brides will agree!
We meet up at their boat at their boat at the Hartford Yacht Club in South Glastonbury. It was the most gorgeous evening and we had beautiful warm sunshine all around us. The water was still like glass and their was a perfect light breeze in the air! AHHH makes me miss summer! They decided to bring their handsome dog Moose along for the session so they could get a few “family” shots! He was such a ham for the camera!
I loved this session with Brigitte, Jeremy, and Moose! They were all so much fun! Can’t wait for your wedding in 2012!!
Diva P had the most awesome outfits to pick from! I loved each one of them…oh and her shoes were to die for! Super high and super sexy! I could never walk in shoes that high (I’m accident prone, so I would end up falling for sure), but Diva P strutted her stuff in those shoes like nobody’s business! I was impressed!
Her flawless makeup was done by Andrea of Professional Makeup by DiLieto.
I absolutely loved working with the Rodriguez family! Each member has a very unique personality and the kids were a hoot! They asked me if they kids could wear traditional Korean outfits for some of the photos, and of course I was super excited!! They were SOOO stinkin’ cute in them! We meet up at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT, in the Oriental Gardens. It was so peaceful and serene, but we brought a whole lot of family fun!
So, tomorrow Hurricane Irene is going to hit CT, but her force can not compete with the extreme super stardom that is Veronica and Chad! In fact, their wedding was SO epic, that I have to break it down in two parts!!
All of the girls got ready at the Inn at Middletown and got glammed up by the beauty squad…all makeup was done by the fabulous Shelly Boucher and all hair was done by the super talented Christy Catala and Shelly Torelli! These ladies are a dream team of glamour…all of the bridesmaids and Veronica looked so stunning!! The gorgeous flowers were by Bakes & Baldwin. Veronica had some of the most colorful bouquets I’ve ever seen, and they really popped against her white gown! Love when my brides are willing to take risks and go against tradition!
This photo has a story, and to keep it short and sweet…Veronica and her bridesmaids partied VIP style with the Boston Bruins and the Stanley Cup for her Bachelorette party…Her girls decided to get her a shirt to commemorate this HISTORIC event!
Veronica and Chad decided to do a first look, where they see each other before their ceremony! It is so great for the bride and groom to have that quiet moment alone to see each other for the first time…and it’s really great for me since we had tons of time to do some really fun portraits and bridal party photos!
Priceless…the first time their son Chaddy gets to see his mommy all dressed up…and he gave her a kiss! UGH cutest moment of the whole day!!
I couldn’t resist…I told Chad to give me his Supermodel face…and this is what he came up with…Love it!
Stay tuned for the PARTY of the CENTURY…more photos to come in Part II!!
Big Shout out to my second shooter Jen from Jennifer Dougan Photography!!
I had the privilege of joining Brittney on her wedding day as she got ready. She and I go way back to when we were little girls! We grew up spending our summer together on Longboat Key in Florida and when she asked me to document her “pre-wedding” festivities, I was honored! She got ready at the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota. The room was full of excited bridesmaids, hair stylists, makeup artists, and tons of smiles. The day was gorgeous, but it couldn’t compete with how stunning Brittney looked! She was grinning ear to ear all morning!
Brittney had found the most beautiful pins to add to her ensemble that day. I like anything vintage or sparkly, so being that they were both vintage AND sparkly I loved them!
