Layla – Baby Photography in Wallingford, CT

Baby Layla is so beautiful! She is such a happy baby, with such a huge smile and gorgeous blue eyes! We lucked out and had the most amazing fall day so we had to take advantage of the perfect weather!!

Even Layla’s big ‘fur’ brother Kobey joined us. I also absolutely love this photo of the whole family…we were going for a cute kiss on the cheek but Layla wasn’t having it. Her expression is priceless!!!

Leaves are sooo yummy! 4 out of 5 babies would agree!

Elissa & Bob – Wedding Photography in Rehoboth, MA

The day that Elissa & Bob got married was one of the prettiest days I’ve seen all year! Everything was perfect: the sunlight, the guests, the venue, the band…fun was had by everyone and their wedding was gorgeous! They got married at the beautiful Five Bridge Inn in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Not only was the day perfect, but Elissa was a perfectly stunning bride!

Elissa and Bob’s dog, Brooklyn, is such a well-behaved girl! Not only did she get to have a special part in their ceremony, but she got to stay for the whole party!! She was so cute when she saw her mommy all dressed up

I caught these two lovebirds sneaking a kiss mid-reception…soooo cute!

Brigitte & Jeremy – Engagement photography in South Glastonbury, CT

I am so excited for Brigitte and Jeremy’s wedding…the bad news is I have to wait a whole year!! They decided to do their engagement session on the exact day they are getting married next year! I warned her that it will go by faster than she thinks. I’m sure all brides will agree!

We meet up at their boat at their boat at the Hartford Yacht Club in South Glastonbury. It was the most gorgeous evening and we had beautiful warm sunshine all around us. The water was still like glass and their was a perfect light breeze in the air! AHHH makes me miss summer! They decided to bring their handsome dog Moose along for the session so they could get a few “family” shots! He was such a ham for the camera!

I loved this session with Brigitte, Jeremy, and Moose! They were all so much fun! Can’t wait for your wedding in 2012!!

Crerar Family Portrait Session in Cheshire, CT

I had so much fun a few weeks back with the Crerar family! We got to hang in their yard, climb the tree house, play some sports, and explore a local park! It was a lot of fun, and I was so glad I got to tag along!

Sue & Lucy – Lifestyle photography in New Haven, CT

Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a die-hard animal lover! Sue is like me times 100. She does so many wonderful things for animals, including pulling dogs out of high kill shelters, running a rescue group, being a strong voice against animal cruelty, and volunteering with the super rad organization Bikers Against Animal Cruelty. She is an amazing woman who has such a big heart! I was completely honored when she asked if I could capture some moments with her little lady Lucy.

One of the coolest things about Lucy is that she has one chocolate-brown eye, and one crystal clear blue eye…its so pretty!

Thanks so much Lucy and Sue! I am so glad I could spend the afternoon with you both.

Baby Evline Claire – Newborn Photography in North Haven, CT

Little baby Evline (better known as Evie) is just the absolute cutest! Don’t you agree! She has quite a personality…and her mommy and daddy, Jamie and Eric, need to look out because she is going to break hearts when she gets older! I swear she’s already a model and she’s only a few months old.

While Evie had a wardrobe change, I grab this shot of her furry big brother Hunter hanging out in the sunshine…then it was back to work…

At the end of the session, Evie was exhausted…no one said being a supermodel is an easy job! She got all curled up ready for a nap, and I caught this tiny little tear sneak out of her eye. It was so cute!

Caroline & Jim – Engagement Photography in New Haven, CT

They met at work, fell in love, and are now ENGAGED! Caroline and Jim are a very romantic couple that I had the honor of working with recently for their engagement session. They are so much fun to be around and have no problem expressing their love for one another. Even though it was freezing outside, they still braved the cold for a little “cuddle time” in the beautiful fresh snow.

Also, did I mention that they are both VERY attractive? Makes my job easy…

See…I told you…how STUNNING is Caroline!

From the start of the session, there was a little cat (that we named Peanut Butter) that followed us around. Our adventure with Peanut Butter began when Jim rescued him from a tree, and from then on, he was in love. He followed us to each location, watched Caroline & Jim, and then would move to the next location. Jim & Caroline almost took him home, they were so in love with this friendly little guy. I figured since he was such a good “assistant” for the day, he deserved a little blog love!

Kelly & Matt – True Love

Kelly has been my best friend since we were young, and our friendship has grown as the years passed. Now, she has Matt in her life, and the chemistry between them is so apparent. We had so much fun last weekend, it was the most beautiful fall day: crisp air, colorful leaves, rosy cheeks, and gorgeous light!

We were lucky enough to have Fenway and Lupa join us for the fun! Aren’t they cute?!

Both Kelly and Matt were pitchers on the Southern Connecticut State University softball and baseball teams, so it was the perfect place for us to go and get some shots. Yes, we snuck into the Southern baseball field…shhh don’t tell anyone.

The love between Kelly and Matt is so strong and I look forward to being friends with them until we are old and gray!

Mutt Strut to benefit Friends of the New Haven Animal Shelter

As most of my friends and family know, I am super passionate about animals and love volunteering at the Robin I. Kroogman New Haven Animal Shelter. I usually work at the Mutt Strut every year with all of the other volunteers, but this year I got to be behind the camera as well! These are a few of my favorite shots from our latest event.
