Christina & Jesse – Wedding Photography in Washington DC

One of my favorite things in the world to do is to travel! If it could, I would travel every week! When Christina and Jesse said they were getting married just outside Washington DC, I jumped at the opportunity!!

Their wedding was held at the super glamorous Ceresville Mansion. It was just perfect, and one of my absolutely favorite indoor ceremony sites ever! The lighting and room were gorgeous and you could just feel the love in the air!

Christina started her day at Renaissance Salon where she got beautified by their team! She was sooo gorgeous!

I just am in love with this…the quiet moment before she walks down the aisle. You can just see all of the excitement, anticipation, and serenity in her face!

All of their other vendors were incredible to help make every details perfect!

Also, thanks to Jen Dougan for coming to DC with me and second shooting!

Elissa & Bob – Wedding Photography in Rehoboth, MA

The day that Elissa & Bob got married was one of the prettiest days I’ve seen all year! Everything was perfect: the sunlight, the guests, the venue, the band…fun was had by everyone and their wedding was gorgeous! They got married at the beautiful Five Bridge Inn in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Not only was the day perfect, but Elissa was a perfectly stunning bride!

Elissa and Bob’s dog, Brooklyn, is such a well-behaved girl! Not only did she get to have a special part in their ceremony, but she got to stay for the whole party!! She was so cute when she saw her mommy all dressed up :)

I caught these two lovebirds sneaking a kiss mid-reception…soooo cute!

Some of their other great vendors:

Caterer: Ralph’s Caterer

Thanks again for including me in your wonderful wedding day! Congrats Elissa and Bob!

Alicia & Dennis – Wedding Photography in Glastonbury, CT

Alicia and Dennis are a ton of fun to photograph, so I knew that they would be a ton of fun on their wedding day! They did not disappoint!

If you’ve ever thought about doing a “First Look”, you should really do it! There are so many benefits to seeing your handsome groom before you walk down the isle…obviously my  favorite reason is we get the chance to capture some killer moments of just the two of you!  Alicia and Dennis were game for some intimate time alone and some one on one time with me! They decided to do their First Look in Elizabeth Park in Hartford, CT. What a perfect backdrop for them!

Their reception was so beautiful at the Glastonbury Hills Country Club. Their cupcake tower and cake top were by the famous Sugar Bakery of East Haven…sooo delicious! And her gorgeous flowers were by The Garden Path. I was obsessed with them both as you can tell!

A big shout out to their DJ, Entertainment Unlimited of New England and Alicia’s hair stylist Laura on their great work!

Thanks again Alicia and Dennis for letting me be a part of your big day!

Veronica & Chad – Part II – Wedding Photography in Haddam, CT

As you can tell, I was a huge fan of Veronica & Chad’s wedding. They had every detail covered and it was nothing short of spectacular! It was a photographer’s dream! I loved it so much, I had to split it into two parts…if you missed Part I click here!

Their beautiful location: The Riverhouse

DJ & Lighting: Sound Spectrum Entertainment

Not only was their wedding cake gorgeous (from Creative Cakes By Donna)…but since their wedding day was also Veronica’s birthday, they had a surprise birthday cake for her that was incredible! I can’t decide which I like better!

Thanks again Veronica & Chad for picking me to capture your memories on your wedding day! I loved being a part of it and wish you the best!

Nicole & Manny – Wedding Photography in New Haven, CT

Ever think about getting married in a tropical location with your close friends and family for a week long adventure? SURE, sounds exotic, relaxing, and fabulous!!!! Doesn’t mean you can’t come back and have a rockin’ party!!! This is exactly what Nicole and Manny did! They were smart and sipped tropical fruit drinks on the beach in Punta Cana with their friends, then came back and partied like rockstars with their extended family and friends to celebrate their big day!! I love this concept and think it is a great way to get married! (Don’t forget you can always book your favorite photographer AKA Amanda Rose Photography to come capture your destination wedding as well! wink wink)

Nicole and Manny’s wedding celebration was at Union League Cafe in New Haven and it was gorgeous. Nicole chose a non-traditional slate gray dress that was to die for! I loved it so much!! And of course, Manny looked dapper in his matching dark gray suit!

There was no shortage of dancing and fun at their wedding! It seemed like everyone had a blast! There were even two of their friends battling it out on the dancefloor…it was hysterical!!

Air Guitar duet…ohhh yeahhhh!

Thanks again Nicole & Manny for letting me be a party of  your huge celebration! Congrats again on your marriage!!

Veronica & Chad – Part I – Wedding Photography in Haddam, CT

So, tomorrow Hurricane Irene is going to hit CT, but her force can not compete with the extreme super stardom that is Veronica and Chad! In fact, their wedding was SO epic, that I have to break it down in two parts!!

All of the girls got ready at the Inn at Middletown and got glammed up by the beauty squad…all makeup was done by the fabulous Shelly Boucher and all hair was done by the super talented Christy Catala and Shelly Torelli! These ladies are a dream team of glamour…all of the bridesmaids and Veronica looked so stunning!! The gorgeous flowers were by Bakes & Baldwin. Veronica had some of the most colorful bouquets I’ve ever seen, and they really popped against her white gown! Love when my brides are willing to take risks and go against tradition!

This photo has a story, and to keep it short and sweet…Veronica and her bridesmaids partied VIP style with the Boston Bruins and the Stanley Cup for her Bachelorette party…Her girls decided to get her a shirt to commemorate this HISTORIC event! :)

Veronica and Chad decided to do a first look, where they see each other before their ceremony! It is so great for the bride and groom to have that quiet moment alone to see each other for the first time…and it’s really great for me since we had tons of time to do some really fun portraits and bridal party photos!

Priceless…the first time their son Chaddy gets to see his mommy all dressed up…and he gave her a kiss! UGH cutest moment of the whole day!!

I couldn’t resist…I told Chad to give me his Supermodel face…and this is what he came up with…Love it!

Stay tuned for the PARTY of the CENTURY…more photos to come in Part II!!

Big Shout out to my second shooter Jen from Jennifer Dougan Photography!!

Brittney & Jake – Getting Ready – Wedding Photography in Sarasota, FL

I had the privilege of joining Brittney on her wedding day as she got ready. She and I go way back to when we were little girls! We grew up spending our summer together on Longboat Key in Florida and when she asked me to document her “pre-wedding” festivities, I was honored! She got ready at the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota. The room was full of excited bridesmaids, hair stylists, makeup artists, and tons of smiles. The day was gorgeous, but it couldn’t compete with how stunning Brittney looked! She was grinning ear to ear all morning!

Brittney had found the most beautiful pins to add to her ensemble that day. I like anything vintage or sparkly, so being that they were both vintage AND sparkly I loved them!

Tiffany and Joe – Wedding Photography in West Haven, CT

Tiffany and Joe are such love birds! They had a beautiful wedding with their friends and family to celebrate just that…their LOVE! Lucky for me, Tiffany chose purple as her “color” for her wedding, which happens to be my favorite color too! Tiffany has the kindest, sweetest soul ever! You instantly become friends and feel like you’ve known her your whole life. Joe is just such a happy-go-lucky kind of guy that doesn’t sweat the small stuff and knows how to have a good time!

Tiff was so gorgeous, and he dress was simple, but perfection. Then, I was so excited when I saw Joe all spiffy in his Navy uniform!

Veronica and Chad’s Wedding – Photobooth

Veronica and Chad’s wedding was flawless…and their crazy photobooth just topped off the night! Here are a few of my favorites from the night…did you make the cut?

Jessica and Jason – Wedding Photography at Simsbury Inn, Simsbury, CT

Jessica and Jason are absolutely hysterical. Their personalities are so bubbly and goofy and they really know how to have a good time together! That was what their wedding day was all about: friends, family and having a GREAT time! Every detail was so well planned and the day was perfect!

Yes ladies…these yummy little shoes are Christian Louboutin’s…a gift from Jason to Jess on their wedding day! Jealous? I am…

And this was their “get-a-way” car…Hot, right?!

The Jason had a surprise for Jess…a video message from “The Band Perry” wishing them congratulations on their big day…How awesome is that! Way to set the bar high Jason! Her face is just priceless when he caught her off guard!

Big thanks to Jessica and Jason for including me in their big day! Their wedding was fabulous.

Also a big thanks to all of the great vendors!
