Gouveia Vineyard Engagement Photography – Wallingford, CT | Stacey & Alkis

I adore Stacey & Alkis! For many reasons…they are super relaxed and natural in front of the camera, they are planning an amazing wedding for next year and I’m excited about shooting it, and they have a love of wine…just like me! We found it only fitting that we do their engagement session at Gouveia Vineyards in Wallingford. Not only is this location beautiful, but we got to enjoy the ambiance of prime wine season!

I’m not really sure how we lucked out on getting THE NICEST SUNSET OF THE YEAR!! I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. The first time we scheduled for their engagement pictures it was a rainy, miserable day. Stacey had requested that we change the date to two days later and I gladly agreed. It must have been fate, because that night I could have shot into the sunset for hours (if only the sunset lasted for hours lol). It was the most incredible sky I’ve ever seen in my life, and having two awesome subjects in front of this stunning backdrop just made me the happiest photographer in the world!

Please tell me how this sky is THIS amazing?? And yes, that is a little slice of the moon in the top left corner. LOVE THIS image of the two of them!

Stacey & Alkis, thanks so much for an incredible engagement session and I’m looking forward to your wedding next year!! xo

She said YES! Proposal in Columbus Circle in New York City, NY

Want to really impress your girlfriend?! Then I suggest you follow David’s lead and treat her to a romantic dinner in New York City on Columbus Circle , then just as you are about to take a casual stroll, surprise her with a proposal and a photographer to capture the moment (aka ME!) I loved being a part of David’s proposal to his incredibly gorgeous girlfriend Dana!

They started dinner way up high, overlooking the city right…if you look hard enough you can see them right in the middle (side geek note: I just love my 70-200 mm 2.8L IS for things like this!!)

I can’t get enough of Dana’s reaction when she realized I was photographing the moment.

After the adorable proposal, we did a few photos so that they could continue to celebrate their magical evening alone (without me stalking around haha).

Congratulations again to Dana and David!

Mallory & Jason – Daffodil Engagement Session – Litchfield, CT

I love daffodils, but when Mallory and Jason took me to this location for their engagement session, I was completely blown away by how stunning the hills full of daffodils were! I could not believe how many varieties there were and how many there were…it was almost like the ground was completely blanketed in them! So amazing! We hit it just at the right time, the light was perfect!

What I absolutely love about Mallory & Jason is that they are complete naturals in front of the camera. They just were super cute, cuddly, and adorable the whole time and I just danced around them capturing their love for each other! I also loved Mallory’s dress! It had a vintage chic look to it, and her boots were equally amazing! If their wedding day is as good as their engagement session, then I have no doubt their big day will be Epic!

I was so excited when they asked if they could bring their adorable little dog, Sherlock…SOOOO cute!!

I’m so stoked about Mallory & Jason’s fall wedding! It is going to be a vintage fairytale!! Can’t wait! xo

Megan & Adam – Engagement Photography in Waterbury, CT

Megan and Adam have such a cute love story! They have actually been friends since elementary school!! I think it is the cutest thing that love snuck into their friendship and now they are best friends AND getting married! We figured the only fitting place for their engagement session would be at the elementary school where they first met!

They actually both have a really great sense of humor. They had me cracking up the whole time!

They are also proud parents to their adorable fur baby, Marley, who joined in on the session. She was a total camera hog…she knew how to work her best angles and always smiled pretty for the camera! LOL I think it’s pretty obvious that she has her owners wrapped around her pretty little paw! 😉

I am super excited about their wedding and know that their love is going to last the test of time since they have already been through so much with each other!

Southford Falls Engagement Session -Southbury, CT | Jenna & Bill

I am so excited about Jenna and Bill’s engagement session! Not only were they great in front of the camera, but they brought their adorable “fur baby” Emma who was equally photogenic! Another reason I’m so in love with this session is because it was wintry, snowy, foggy, woodsy, and most of all it reminded me of a Twilight inspired engagement session!! I couldn’t get enough of the way the fog and moss and all of the huge trees surrounding us just made me feel like I was in one of the movies…and YES I will admit it, I’m a huge Twilight fan!!

Did anyone else see a little bit of Twilight in there? I did and I loved it! Can’t wait until Jenna and Bill’s wedding next fall!! WOOHOO!!

Country Maternity Photography – New Haven, CT | Stephanie & Mike

Not only was this a super cute maternity session, we were also celebrating the engagement of Stephanie & Mike! Love her adorable little belly, and how cute and cuddly they are. The good news is, their little girl will be born in a few days and I couldn’t be happier for them!

I’m obsessed with Stephanie’s STUNNING crystal clear blue eyes! Mike has these awesome light eyes too, so chances are their baby girl is going to have some amazing peepers!!

Wishing Stephanie & Mike all of the happiness in the world with their little princess that is due any day now! xo

Gouveia Vineyards & Winery Engagement Session – Wallingford, CT | Stephanie & Matt

As a photographer, you always love when your clients are super natural in front of the camera. Stephanie & Matt are two prime examples of how a couple’s love for each other can shine through when you are just being yourself! To say that I LOVED working with Stephanie and Matt is an understatement! It was such a joy to work with them!! We met at one of their favorite spots, Gouveia Vineyards & Winery in Wallingford, CT and while they sipped on some vino, I captured the magic between them!

I seriously don’t think I could have asked for nicer light on this summery day! It was breathtaking!!

Stay tuned for Stephanie & Matt’s gorgeous fall wedding…it will be hitting the blog in a few weeks!

Beach Engagement Session – Milford, CT | Quintin & Jacqueline

I think Quintin and Jacqueline are the cutest couple ever! They have so much chemistry and they keep each other laughing all of the time! They picked a beach in Milford as the backdrop for their engagement session, which I thought was a perfect spot!                 I can’t get enough of Jacqueline’s eyes…aren’t they gorgeous?!       Anyone that knows Quintin, know what a jokester he is! He had me constantly laughing their whole session. He made his own “Titanic” moment during their session…”I’m the King of the world!!”

Be sure to keep a look out for the post on their awesome wedding on Cape Cod that should hit the blog in a few weeks! You won’t want to miss it!

Liz & Joe – Worthington Pond Farm Engagement Session – Somers, CT

Liz & Joe are just the absolute cutest couple ever!! They are adorable individually, but when they are together, you can see the electricity between them! I loved their engagement session because they wanted to go to a fun location and have a “country” vibe. We decided on a location that I had never heard of, Worthington Pond Farm, in Somers, CT. It was so beautiful there, and definitely gave the feel they were looking for! Old barns, chopped wood, vintage trucks, OH MY! I couldn’t get enough!!

I am looking forward to their wedding this fall!! Can’t wait!

Airplane Hangar & Beach Engagement Session in Stratford, CT | Suzanne & Mike

So you might expect to see a typical beach engagement session, but I can assure you, that you will see anything but that! Before we went to the beach, we took some great photos at a “top-secret super cool” location…yes that is actually the name of it 😉

That’s right, we had it all! Working airplanes, crashed airplanes, hangars, broken down buildings…I was in heaven! Not to mention that Suzanne and Mike have killer chemistry that just made my job a breeze!

OMG…I’m in love with this photo! How GQ does Mike look here?!

After our super crazy time with the airplanes, we headed to a nearby beach…it was time for some romance! Suzanne and Mike have THE CUTEST story about how they met! They lived across the hall from one another in their apartment building, and started chatting during a fire drill…and they have never turned back since! That is exactly the kind of thing that you see in the movies! I love it!

I saved my favorite two images for last…I adore the simple quiet moment that these two are having.

Thanks again Suzanne and Mike for an awesome session! I can’t wait until your wedding this fall!
