Meghan & Randy – Maternity Photography in Wallingford, CT

First of all, I must say that I think most pregnant women would like to look and feel as great as Meghan looks! I for one know that when I was pregnant, I felt like a whale. Well, not Meghan…she has been working out her whole pregnancy, eating right, and just radiates from head to toe with that gorgeous pregnancy glow!

I was so excited when Meghan and Randy suggested that we do their maternity session at Randy’s business site! Randy has his own business, Mangino Excavation, so we were free to do whatever we wanted! I was loving the big trucks and I love that Meghan wore boots that went with the whole theme!

Randy’s son was a champ and hung out with us for a few minutes for some family photos, then he was off to race his quad around the grounds…having way more fun than hanging out with us (obviously lol)

Fantasia Wedding in North Haven, CT | Lisan and Michael

Usually I start out each wedding post talking about how gorgeous the wedding was, but this one I must go back a little bit more…

I love how Michael proposed! literally “the writing is on the wall”. When you walk into their dining room it is pretty obvious how he proposed. And I love the fact that they have left it there and kept it as a part of their home!

Ok, now I will gush about their wedding! I’ve never seen such bold flowers before! A job well done, as usual, by The Flower Girl Florist. Talk about having your “something blue”…so pretty!! Also their adorable doggy had to join them each for a photo. He was obviously excited for his mommy and daddy to get married!

Usually I only get to capture the bride getting ready, but I was lucky enough that Lisan and Michael scheduled it so that they would each take turns getting ready at the house so I could be there for both of them! It worked out perfectly and I’m so glad I got to hang with the boys for a bit too!

Rustic Backyard Wedding in Southington, CT | Lisa & Neil

When you initially meet with a client, sometimes you just know, it is a perfect fit! I knew that the second I met Neil and Lisa! They were so great to work with on their wedding day and even better, they had total trust in me to just “do my thing” and make it happen. I love clients like this that know I will get the job done no matter what.

I can not express how gorgeous their backyard ceremony location was. It had every detail well thought out, from the GORGEOUS flowers, to the barrels, and the iced tea and lemonade. It was the perfect rustic/chic combination that made me say “AWWW” to every little detail!

One of my favorite parts of Lisa and Neil’s wedding was the fact that they left a TON of time in between the ceremony and their reception for photos! I love having more than the standard cocktail hour to use for photo time!! See how much more we can get…time even allowed for us to go to an ultra cool location before heading over to the reception.

She said YES! Proposal in Columbus Circle in New York City, NY

Want to really impress your girlfriend?! Then I suggest you follow David’s lead and treat her to a romantic dinner in New York City on Columbus Circle , then just as you are about to take a casual stroll, surprise her with a proposal and a photographer to capture the moment (aka ME!) I loved being a part of David’s proposal to his incredibly gorgeous girlfriend Dana!

They started dinner way up high, overlooking the city right…if you look hard enough you can see them right in the middle (side geek note: I just love my 70-200 mm 2.8L IS for things like this!!)

Baby Jameson – Newborn Photography in Wallingford, CT

I have been lucky enough to cuddle with lots and lots of newborns lately! It seems like all of my clients are having babies, and it is so exciting to see the next generation of Amanda Rose Photography fans come into this world! Just kidding, but I have been super excited by all of the adorable, squishable, loveable babies I get to hold and play with! Jameson is no exception! He is such a cutie pie, and had quite a personality! We got to get some of him alone, and some with his big brother, Dylan and big sister, Madison! What a lucky kid to have two great older siblings that are so proud of their new little brother!

Woodwinds Wedding – Branford, CT | Breanna & Katie

Breanna and Katie have such a deep love for one another, which was very visible at their wedding. But they definitely know how to kick back and have a good time too! Their wedding day at Woodwinds in Branford, CT was a perfect combination of love and party!

The framed photograph of Breanna’s father and lit candle that sat on the mantle was a beautiful reminder of how her dad was there in spirit all night, looking over his little girl! I absolutely adore this image, not only because of their heartfelt embrace of the newly weds, but the fact that her dad is literally looking over her shoulder (proudly) at his little girl on her wedding day!

Mallory & Jason – Daffodil Engagement Session – Litchfield, CT

I love daffodils, but when Mallory and Jason took me to this location for their engagement session, I was completely blown away by how stunning the hills full of daffodils were! I could not believe how many varieties there were and how many there were…it was almost like the ground was completely blanketed in them! So amazing! We hit it just at the right time, the light was perfect!

What I absolutely love about Mallory & Jason is that they are complete naturals in front of the camera. They just were super cute, cuddly, and adorable the whole time and I just danced around them capturing their love for each other! I also loved Mallory’s dress! It had a vintage chic look to it, and her boots were equally amazing! If their wedding day is as good as their engagement session, then I have no doubt their big day will be Epic!

Megan & Adam – Engagement Photography in Waterbury, CT

Megan and Adam have such a cute love story! They have actually been friends since elementary school!! I think it is the cutest thing that love snuck into their friendship and now they are best friends AND getting married! We figured the only fitting place for their engagement session would be at the elementary school where they first met!
